Recently I conducted an internship with Mark Coles of M10 Fitness. As a strength and conditioning coach, I have the necessary skills to work with athletes, yet I came to realise that my business would only continue to grow if I became an expert in the field of fat loss. The internship combined theoretical discussion with practical training demonstrations and as a result I now feel better equipped and a new type of client has become accessible to me. JUST PERFORM Personal Training
I did a one day body composition internship with Mark recently. The information I received during that day has proved to be extremely effective. In the 6 weeks immediatley after Chris's internship, his body fat went down from 14.6% to 9%
I recently travelled to see Mark for a 1 day internship at the illustrious M10 fitness facility in Newark. I was blown away at how effectively the space was used with the best equipment available for training athletes and achieving great fat loss results.
Mark provided me with some fantastic information on how to achieve remarkable fat loss results in a rapid time span.
Mark was very open minded and answered all of my questions no matter how silly they seemed with some very encouraging advice. Mark also gave great direction as to what to read next, what courses I should take a look at and gave me a great insight into the benefits of functional medicine. Mark also took the time to train me and show me exactly how to train clients for optimal fat loss. A gruelling experience, but well worth it!
We tend to be quite sceptical sometimes and make excuses when are clients don't get quite to where we like them to, or we want them to lose weight more than they do. After seeing the ins and outs of Mark's LHP system I am genuinely inspired and excited that it is actually possible to get clients to get to their fat loss or muscle mass goal in as little as 12 weeks! My ambition is to not be a run of the mill personal trainer like so many others in the industry driven by money. I wanted to get the best start possible in my career and needed help to break the mould.
I contacted Mark Coles of M10 Fitness enquiring about internships to see if he could help me. He got back to me straight away and we arranged for me to go up. I was up early the day of the internship as i had a long drive ahead of me and was feeling quite nervous. As soon as I walked in to M10 the nerves disappeared as I was welcomed well by Mark and his team in a very relaxed atmosphere. The gym was spotless, fitted with olympic lifting platforms, prowlers and thick grip dumbbells. I could tell it was going to be a good day! We spent the day thoroughly going through everything I needed to know about, Training for Fat Loss, Nutrition for Fat Loss , being a Fat Loss Specialist and running a Fat Loss business!
I learned so much in just one day I'm still digesting it all weeks later. I left with so much great energy in knowing that what I want to be is capable and it got me very excited about the journey I am going through as I start my results own driven Fat Loss Business. I've not long been back and I have already been reaping the benefits of the day, and so have my clients!!
I would recommend this to anyone serious about Personal Training and wanting to better themselves. Run of the mill need not apply!!

The biggest thing I’ve taken away with me from spending a day with Mark Coles at M10 Fitness is his advice to "RECORD, RECORD, and RECORD!" Basically one of the first things he asked me when I came in to see him was if I had any records of my business? I couldn't answer the question!
Looking at M10's website, the most eye catching thing for me is seeing the pictures of the great body transformations Mark and his team at M10 have achieved. This was just one of the many great bits of advice and information I received throughout the day. Here's a few other reasons I thought the day was totally worthwhile:
1-1 Learning- I've done quite a few great courses but what is so good about the internship is that you can ask what you want! You can pick Mark's brain on any subject you want to talk about and he supplies the answers!
Going through the LHP Performance System- Covering everything from finding out as much as possible about your clients through an in depth interview, to different levels of nutrition, correct supplementation and structured training for fat loss.
The Gym & Training Session- For me just getting to look round the training facility was worthwhile enough; with all the great strength training equipment any personal trainer would love to have a chance at training there. The fat loss training session with Mark was brutal (I didn't pull a whitey, just went a bit pale! lol), but great to take back to my clients!
Inspiration- Mark is a very inspirational character and I came away with a real buzz for Personal Training again. Over the last 2 weeks since my internship I’ve really enjoyed putting into practise everything I learnt over the day, I plan to come back and learn more in the new year!
