Many people struggle for meal ideas, especially for breakfast. If you follow a lower carb lifestyle like many of our clients at M10, it's important to change your meals plans regularly. Firstly to break boredom and secondly to make sure that you do not develop food intolerances. These very tasty sage and apple turkey burgers are a great way to start your day or they can be used to complement any other meal.
Prep and cooking time - 20 minutes
500 grams of turkey mince
Half a finely chopped apple
Half a finely chopped red onion
2 teaspoons of finely chopped sage
1 teaspoon of finely chopped thyme
3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
1 large pinch of sea salt
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together and then lay out 4 - 6 burgers on a baking tray.
On a medium heat grill, cook the burgers for 7 minutes each side or until cooked through.
