The motivation…
I took on the Next Level Body Challenge as I was getting stale with my own gym training and wanted a newer, different, more structured programme to follow, along with some accountability and direction with my nutrition. I've always enjoyed training and dieting down in the past, but I got to a point where I would just start over thinking everything when it came to my training session, being happy with my workout, then not being happy and wanting to change it. I just needed a properly structured programme to focus on my imbalances & posture, all my overthinking taken off my shoulders.

Results & Rewards...

I managed to shred a bulk load of fat whilst maintaining all of my strength levels and gaining some good shape and definition in the right areas, not to mention losing my spare tyre that was around my waist which I'm super happy about. The most rewarding for me was due to having the accountability, it kept me to sticking to my total calories/macro's.

 

The challenges...
"I wouldn't say any of it was challenging as I've always really enjoyed training and eating healthy and following macronutrient amounts alongside being determined throughout to achieve my goal. Social events where I couldn't just sit back and over indulge was tough though! But having Rich for accountability kept me on best behaviour. "

Lessons learned...
"I learned new structures for planning out your weeks of training for hitting different muscle groups (strengths and lagging areas), great combination of exercises in those programmes (for balance and posture) and awesome ways and tricks to help stay on top of your nutrition goals (foods to help feel satisfied and ways to hold off hunger/craving feelings). "

Moving forward...
"I feel a lot more confident moving forward with my journey, finding meal planning and prep hell of a lot easier and walking into the gym with a game plan ready. No more overthinking anymore! "
