"THIS WAS MY FIRST PROPER TRANSFORMATION AND I GOT THE RESULTS I WANTED"

Harrison, a sport science student, completed his own bulking period during the summer of 2020 but felt he gained too much fat in the process and didn’t feel comfortable with the way he looked.

With the goal of stripping fat, revealing his abs and getting his body confidence back, Harrison started personal training with M10 coach, Richard Hill.

Mission accomplished...
“I told Richard from day one I want to look defined with my abs showing and feel confident in my body and he’s delivered me exactly that. My weight starting this cut was around 78kg and once finishing I ended up at around 66kg so quite a lot of weight was cut during this but I felt so active all the time and wasn’t sluggish whatsoever and I am very pleased with my final photos.This is my first proper transformation where I’ve got the results I was looking for”

This made dieting easier…
Since working with Rich my whole mindset on training and nutrition has changed the most due to the fact the food plans are exciting and easy to stick too, it’s easy to swap foods for other foods and it makes the dieting phase so much easier when you enjoy the foods you’re eating. Training wise I feel stronger than ever and recovering the best I ever have due to the correct training days being in place and enough rest days for my muscles to recover and smash another workout.

This did not work in the past…
“I’ve tried dieting down to stupidly low calories and doing tonnes of cardio but that didn’t work as I didn’t get to the physique I desired and I just put the weight back on.”

There were plenty of challenges…
This transformation wasn’t easy by any means as the main challenge I faced was moving to Sheffield to study my sport degree. The first couple of weeks were definitely not the best for nutrition and training wise and Rich could see that from my weekly check ins, so after that Rich sent me a voice note saying I need to stop eating like crap and get my focus on eating clean and making the right decisions. Once I listened to that I realised I had to take it seriously or I wouldn’t get the results I desired.

Through my 12 weeks of dieting I had the odd takeaway as I can’t miss out on being a uni student and there was the odd night out where we was allowed out and be able to have one too many drinks, however due to the tier systems of no pubs or anything it just allowed me to focus on my transformation, going to the gym everyday and meal prepping everyday to allow me to make this transformation a whole lot easier.

Another huge challenge was being impacted by covid-19 as I tested positive which made me lose my taste, smell and appetite which wasn’t good for trying to maintain my muscle tissue on this cut but after the 2 weeks of isolation I hit the gym hard and got my nutrition back on track and I was back to where I was pre covid.
