Micheal, who is a coach himself, has never gone through his own body transformation. With the pandemic and the gyms being closed in Ireland, he saw it as the perfect opportunity to commit to a transformation. He knew it would give him focus and structure during a challenging time and was hoping to learn from the process to apply it to his own coaching.

Taking things to the next level...
Albeit, I lead a relatively healthy and active life, I had never really committed to a full on body transformation process and had a more flexible approach to my nutrition and training in the past. Working with Stan let me bring things to the next level to really understand the process of getting ready for a photoshoot.

The challenges that turned into lessons...
“I felt a bit sorry for the wife and the rest of the family because there were days and weekends where I was having to be more disciplined with my own nutrition, activity and training and obviously they weren't on that same journey - so it was a good exercise to make sure I was managing expectations and communicating well and still being present at family events albeit not drinking or necessarily eating the same things. I was 100% cool doing that, but I definitely got an appreciation of how to manage your values in line with the different values of other people”
